Teeth Straightening

What are clear aligners?

Clear aligners are transparent, removable trays that gently guide your teeth into a straighter position, offering a discreet alternative to traditional fixed braces. Custom‑made from smooth, durable plastic, they are designed for comfort and a near‑invisible look throughout treatment.

Using leading systems such as Ordoline or Invisalign, our clinicians plan each step digitally so you can work towards a more balanced, confident smile with peace of mind.

Effective & invisible teeth straightening with clear aligners

How do invisible aligners work?

Each aligner applies light, targeted pressure to your teeth, moving them gradually towards their planned position. Every new set is created to deliver just the right amount of force at the right time.

By wearing your aligners as advised and following your personalised treatment plan, your teeth are guided into place stage by stage, revealing a beautifully straight smile at the end of treatment.

Why choose clear aligners over braces?

  • Comfortable, smooth and almost invisible
  • More control over your treatment and results
  • Simple to remove for thorough brushing and flossing
  • Enjoy your favourite food and drinks with fewer limits
  • Keep playing sports without metal brackets
  • Fewer in‑clinic adjustment visits needed

How clear aligners can help you

Clear aligners treatment process

1

Step 1 - Consultation with our dentist

Meet with our clinician to discuss your goals, ask questions about clear aligners and have a 3D scan taken so we can plan your new smile and show you a preview.
2

Step 2 - Treatment plan creation

Our orthodontic expert studies your scan and designs a personalised step‑by‑step plan, including how long treatment should take and how many aligners you will need. Our Patient Coordinator team is on hand to guide you and answer any questions.
3

Step 3 - Treatment and achieving results

You then start wearing your first set of aligners and attend regular review visits so we can track your progress. Over roughly 5–6 visits, you’ll move through your aligner sets until you reach your straighter, more confident smile.

We offer 2 types of aligners at Dental Art – Invisalign and Ordoline – so your clinician can recommend the one that best matches your smile, lifestyle and budget

Which one is right for me?

Invisalign may suit you if you prefer a globally recognised brand and your case can be completed predictably with a smaller number of aligners. Ordoline may be better if you want a more budget‑friendly option with fewer in‑person visits and a course of aligners pre‑planned from your first 3D scan. The simplest way to decide is to book a consultation, where we can assess your teeth, discuss your priorities and outline how each option would work for your specific smile.

A practical guide and frequently asked questions

Is Invisalign / Ordoline suitable for me?

Invisalign and Ordoline can be a great option for many adults and teenagers with crooked, crowded, or spaced teeth. If you are not looking to make major changes to your bite but would like a straighter, more even smile, clear aligners could be a suitable solution for you.

Is Invisalign / Ordoline treatment painful?

Most patients find Invisalign and Ordoline treatment very manageable. You may feel some pressure or mild discomfort when you first start wearing a new set of aligners, but this usually settles within a few days as your teeth begin to move.

The aligners use gentle, controlled forces and are custom‑made to fit your teeth closely, which helps reduce irritation to your cheeks and gums. Because they are removable, you can take them out to eat and drink as normal, and you can brush and floss easily to maintain excellent oral hygiene throughout treatment.

Will I need to wear a retainer after Invisalign / Ordoline treatment?

Yes. Just like any teeth‑straightening treatment, you will need to wear a retainer after Invisalign or Ordoline to help keep your teeth in their new position. We offer different types of retainers and will recommend the option that best suits your smile, lifestyle, and preferences.
