Benefits of teeth whitening at home

White teeth in 4 easy steps

1

Step 1 - Consultation

Meet with a Dental Art clinician to check your oral health and confirm that Boutique at‑home whitening is right for you.
2

Step 2 - Impressions

We take precise impressions of your teeth to create custom‑fitted whitening trays that follow the natural contours of your smile.
3

Step 3 - Preparation

While your trays are being made, you are given an extra‑sensitive whitening toothpaste to gently prepare your teeth.
4

Step 4 - Whitening

Once your trays are ready, you begin your at‑home whitening course. Worn as directed over 2–3 weeks, they gradually reveal a brighter, more confident white smile.

A practical guide and frequently asked questions

Is teeth whitening safe?

Yes. Our Boutique at‑home kit uses 6% hydrogen peroxide and, when used under Dental Art’s guidance, is safe and approved as a regulated cosmetic product in both the UK and EU.

Is teeth whitening painful?

Most people do not feel pain, but around 70% notice some temporary sensitivity while whitening. If this becomes uncomfortable, contact our team so we can adjust your plan.

Does teeth whitening damage teeth?

No, your teeth should not be harmed as long as you use the kit exactly as instructed by your clinician.

Will whitening work on veneers, crowns or fillings?

No. Whitening gels only lighten natural tooth enamel, not porcelain, composite or metal restorations.

Does whitening affect existing dental work?

The whitening gel will not damage crowns or fillings, but you may later choose to replace visible restorations so their shade matches your new tooth colour.

Is teeth whitening suitable for everyone?

This treatment is not suitable for under‑18s, pregnant or breastfeeding patients, or anyone with severe gum disease or significant tooth wear. Your dentist will confirm your suitability at consultation.

How much does the at‑home whitening kit cost?

For current fees, please see our price list or speak to the team. We also offer pay‑as‑you‑go and finance options to spread the cost of treatment.
